E + F – WEDDING AT CASTELLO DI SEMIVICOLI
Eleonora and Francesco’s wedding at Castello di Semivicoli took place on a warm July afternoon. To tell their story, I also used film cameras because I wanted to capture an atmosphere reminiscent of times past.
Shooting on film gave the images a unique quality: the warm hues of the sunset, spontaneous smiles, and authentic details (like the floral decorations and the outdoor reception) were all captured with an aesthetic that perfectly matched the historic charm of the venue.
Choosing to get married at Castello di Semivicoli means embracing a setting that blends elegance, history, and nature. Nestled among the rolling hills of Abruzzo and surrounded by vineyards, the castle offers enchanting backdrops at every turn—from its refined interiors to its panoramic terraces, every space becomes an essential part of the visual narrative.
For Eleonora and Francesco, the Castle was more than just a beautiful backdrop—it was a place where time seemed to stand still, allowing them to savor every moment with depth and authenticity.
The entire day unfolded as a tapestry of real emotions, thoughtful details, and fleeting moments—elevated by the soft grain and delicately nostalgic tones of film. A love story that celebrates not only two people, but also a place rich in history and beauty.
